Pg.Lost

Signed at the "Black Star Foundation" in Europe, "Octane" in Japan and "IML" in Russia, Pg.Lost is one of a kind. With Instrumental expressions, blurred voices, passion and some kind of Hidden sorrow, Pg.Lost's music goes right into my heart.

They're debut album "IT'S NOT ME, IT'S YOU!" was released this summer/autumn. They gave me exactly what I hoped for. Of course it's hard not to Compare their new, released songs with earlier ones, like, "Yes I am" or "The Kind Heart of Lanigon", but I think their first big step, is taken to the right direction.

I believe that you should DEFINITELY try this one out. It's absolutely worth it.

"As I mentioned, the remaining four songs are solid examples of post-rock, but after Yes I Am, pg.lost promised so much more than standard fare. Still, it is worth remembering that we’re talking about a debut album here, one that will no doubt please many fans looking for something to supplement their casual post-rock needs, and with the talent to create two of the tracks of the year, pg.lost are thankfully here to stay."

Meleeh

Difine a blend of Poetry with Hardcore in one Word.. Tough? No, not for the 5membered "Meleeh". Screaming/singing ( it depends on how you interpret the sound) about feelings, life, situations, they won a special place at my ranking list. Their best album? By my opinion, Heartland (their latest released 2007). My favourite song? Vittra.

Vittra
fight your love with spine and greed
punisher give birth that no words can feed
collect my leaves and worship my throne
I am death. I am regret. I am unborn
Sinner draw me defenceless and down
To this battle I have lost my crown
To ride with thunder just kill the light
It is my turn to die tonight…

1 of the Top

I bought some Cds two weeks ago. I just went into this store at Monastiraki ( a well known street in Athens) where they sold Cds, Vinyles, Eps and so on, and bought among others a collective Cd by Deep Elm Records, " Hearts Bleed Blue". Sure it sounds kinda Emo.

One of the groups that are signed at Deep Elm Records is the swedish group Logh. I can say one thing, Wow!
I fell in love with track 12.
- Yellow Lights mean Slow Down.

Welcome to my @rt Blog

In order to remember all my knew "music-discoveries" I decided to make a new blog. A blog, where I can kind of talk about different songs, groups, CDs and s.o.
From now On, I will try to buy at least 2 new Cds every week (from demos, to EPs, to albums).

I hope you comment about the songs i refer to and upload.

And of course,
new Suggestions are ALWAYS welcomed!

cheers,
Shilly.
